THE GOA RETREAT

March 2027

Where the depth of yoga meets the nourishment of a retreat in South Goa – an unspoiled paradise.

Relax under the palms, South Goa

Seeking depth, rest and joy filled days?

I am delighted to invite you to this special retreat, a perfect space in beautiful South Goa to share the gift of yoga.

Over 7 nights in the second week of March 2027 you will share the practices that uplift our spirits every day, yoga, meditation, pranayama and yin. Time in nature, on the beach and in the sea.

A journey to refill your cup and reignite your spirit.

Our home will be set on a river, which flows into the ocean minutes away, surrounded by palms and birdsong. It’s a place to reconnect with yourself and find new soul connections with others too.

As well as the daily practices and a tranquil space to relax you will experience some of South Goa's delights. Examples of what will be included and optional in the retreat are a sunset dolphin and dip boat trip, a gentle local hike, an onsite authentic ayurvedic massage and an Indian cookery class.

There will be plenty of time in the day to read, wander, drink fresh coconuts, visit the local chai shop and swim or sunbathe at your own leisure. And of course soak in the magical sunsets.

This yoga retreat is an invitation to fall in love with your practice all over again, an opportunity to visit India and fall in love with Goa, and most importantly fall deeper in love with yourself and the abundance of life that this magical place naturally evokes.

Overview

Dates: 6-13th March 2027 (7 nights)
Location: A magical spot in lush South Goa

Palm Trees Yoga Resort is tucked away in Patnem Village, a quiet corner of South Goa, where the pace of life is genuinely slow, the beach is just an eight-minute walk away, and a peaceful river flows through the grounds. It's a small, intimate yoga space where people come to reconnect with themselves. Palm Trees is divided into two distinct areas, each with its own atmosphere and experience. The heritage side of the resort is where you'll find your home for the week - original Keralan eco-cottages, nestled among palms and tropical plants with a river running alongside. It's green, lush, and quiet. The reception, the Ayurveda centre and al fresco dining and the blue shala reside here in these incredible surroundings.

The yoga

Joanna will be your teacher and guide and share daily practices. Rooted in tradition, Joanna blends her authenticity with creativity. Training originally in India in 2005 in vinyasa she has completed various trainings and intensives since including completing a Meditation training in India and a Yin training in the UK. With her compass set to curiosity, and growth, her time in India allows her to continue to be inspired in the depth of yogic traditions from the source. Forever a student, dedicating time as a student and to her self-practice, Joanna is committed to gifting these learnings forward.

As well as a variety of daily offerings from Joanna expect a special guest teacher or two!, in the form of an inversions workshop, and a candlelit nidra and yin experience.
